Arts Education & Arts Organizations
The development of the arts in Hot Springs
has given the city another
reason to receive international attention.
Acclaimed as one of the
nation’s fastest growing art centers, Hot
Springs has been included in
the top list of The 100 Best Small Art Towns
in America along with
notoriety in many other publications
including: The New York Times,
Art Business News, DGA News, Art World News,
Artists Magazine, Travel &
Leisure, The Saturday Evening Post,
International Artist, Active Years,
and others.
The city features high quality, cutting-edge
performances and fine art
exhibits. Hot Springs’ Fine Arts District
is unequalled within the
state as artists and gallery owners have
renovated Victorian and early
twentieth-century buildings within the
historic district into gallery
and studio spaces. Opening receptions for
new exhibits of
international, national, and local artists
are held within the
galleries the first Friday of every month
and the artists are often
present to discuss their work..
