Partnership
The Hot Springs Metro Partnership
has provided more than 50 years of
leadership in the areas of growth and the
economy in the Greater Hot Springs region.
The
Hot Springs Metro Partnership is a public-private partnership
whose funding comes from the City of Hot
Springs, Garland County, and private
investors within the community. A sister
corporation to The Greater Hot Springs
Chamber of Commerce, Hot Springs Metro
Partnership concentrates on:

A
formal program of retention and support
activities for existing industry and
business.

Liaison service between the business
community and local, state and federal
agencies.

Maintenance of a database of the city’s
available industrial and large office
properties, and aggressive marketing of
those properties to potential industrial
and business clients.

Recruiting of new business and industry
to the city, county and region.

Serving as an information conduit for
announcements, programs and news of
significance to the local business
community.
Hot Springs Metro Partnership Staff:
Recent Hot Springs Metro Partnership
projects include:

Expansion of 20 local industries for a
total of 498 new jobs and $32 million in
capital investment in 2010.

Consolidation of two Rexam Closures and
Containers plants into the Hot Springs
Rexam facility, resulting in 154 new
jobs.

Announcement of $300 million deal to
supply cable for Clean Line Energy by
General Cable Corp. in Malvern,
accompanied by $12 million in capital
expansion and the recall of 60 workers.
Hot Springs Metro Partnership also owns and
operates the Mid-America Industrial Park in
Hot Springs, and owns a building in Hot
Springs Technology Park that it leases to
Stanley Associates.
